HTTP: InterPhoto Image Gallery Local File Inclusion
This signature detects attempts to exploit a known local file inclusion vulnerability in InterPhoto Image Gallery. It is due to insufficient validation of IPLANG cookie parameter. A successful attack can result in arbitrary code execution and loss of sensitive information.
Extended Description
InterPhoto Image Gallery is prone to a local file-include vulnerability because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to obtain potentially sensitive information and to execute arbitrary local scripts in the context of the webserver process. This may allow the attacker to compromise the application and the computer; other attacks are also possible. InterPhoto Image Gallery 2.4.2 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
