HTTP: Xeneo Web Server % DoS
This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability against Xeneo Web Server. Xeneo 2.1.0.0 and 2.0.759.6 are vulnerable. Attackers can send a maliciously crafted URL that contains the % character to crash the server and generate a Microsoft Visual C++ error message.
Extended Description
A denial of service vulnerability has been reported for Xeneo web server. When the web server processes a malformed HTTP request, it will crash and lead to the denial of service condition.
