HTTP: Samsung DVR Cookie Authentication Bypass
This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability against Samsung DVR. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending request with random cookie value to the server. A successful may lead to the Sensitive Information disclosure.
Extended Description
Samsung Web Viewer for Samsung DVR devices stores credentials in cleartext, which allows context-dependent attackers to obtain sensitive information via vectors involving (1) direct access to a file or (2) the user-setup web page.
