HTTP: IIS Samples Access
This signature detects attempts to access the /iissamples/ directory in Microsoft IIS. Attackers can obtain default scripts that can be used to compromise the security of the Web server.
Extended Description
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability would allow remote intruders to traverse to outside of a Web server directory and view confidential files that the Web server has access to.
