HTTP: Umbraco CMS File Upload Stored Cross-Site Scripting
This signature detects attempts to exploit a known cross-site scripting vulnerability against Umbraco CMS. It is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. Attackers can steal cookie-based authentication credentials and launch other attacks.
Extended Description
A stored XSS vulnerability exists in Umbraco CMS <= 8.9.1 or current. An authenticated user authorized to upload media can upload a malicious .svg file which act as a stored XSS payload.
