FTP: TypSoft FTP Server Denial of Service
This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability against TypSoft FTP Server. TypSoft FTP Server 1.10 and earlier versions are vulnerable. Attackers can send known malicious FTP path strings to exhaust all system resources and crash a TypSoft FTP Server.
Extended Description
It has been reported that TYPESoft FTP Server is prone to a remote denial of service vulnerability that may allow an attacker to cause the server to crash. This vulnerability has been reported to affect version 1.10 of the software, however, previous versions may also be affected.
