FTP: Platinum FTP Malformed Pathname

This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability in PlatinumFTP. Attackers can submit a maliciously crafted pathname in a CD request to crash the FTP daemon. PlatinumFTP 1.0.6 and earlier versions are vulnerable.

Extended Description

Remote attackers can exploit these vulnerabilities to obtain system information, delete arbitrary files on the file system, and crash the affected server.
