DHCP: Dnsmasq DHCPv6 Information Disclosure

An information disclosure vulnerability has been reported in Dnsmasq. A remote, unauthenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a maliciously crafted packet to the target server. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could result in information disclosure.

Extended Description

dnsmasq before 2.78, when configured as a relay, allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive memory information via vectors involving handling DHCPv6 forwarded requests.
