TNS: Malformed Port Number
This anomaly detects malformed port numbers in a Transparent Network Substrate (TNS) Redirect message. This can indicate an attacker is attempting to compromise your system. The port number should be in the range of 0 through 65535.
Extended Description
A TNS redirect message with a port number that is not in the range of 0 to 65536 constitutes a protocol anomaly. Such a condition could indicate a TNS configuration or implementation error. It also could indicate that an attack against a TNS service is underway.
