APP: Novell Netware XNFS.NLM Stack Buffer Overflow
This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability in Novell Netware. It is due to insufficient boundary check in the XNFS.NLM component. A successful attack can lead to a buffer overflow and arbitrary remote code execution within the context of the affected application.

Novell Netware is prone to a remote code-execution vulnerability. An attacker can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary code in the context of the system. Successful attacks will completely compromise the affected computer. Failed attacks will likely cause denial-of-service conditions.
