APP: HP Intelligent Management Center TFTP Server MODE Remote Code Execution

This signature detects attempts to exploit a known vulnerability in the HP Intelligent Management Center TFTP server. It is due to insufficient handling while processing malformed READ/WRITE request tftp packets. A successful attack can lead to a buffer overflow and arbitrary remote code execution within the context of the affected server.

HP Intelligent Management Center is prone to multiple remote code-execution vulnerabilities. An attacker can exploit these issues to execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM-level privileges. Successful exploits will completely compromise an affected computer.
