Junos Platform

Junos Pulse is a dynamic, standards-based integrated multiservice network client for desktops, notebooks, netbooks, smartphones and other mobile and non-mobile devices. Junos Pulse interfaces with integrated, multi-service network gateways to deliver identity- and location-aware, anytime/anywhere connectivity, security, application acceleration, and collaboration, with a simplified user experience. Junos Pulse also serves as a development and integration platform for third party applications.

Junos Space is a programmable and extensible, multipurpose Web 2.0 network application platform that enables rapid development and deployment of applications that open the network to new business opportunities, as well as applications that reduce cost and complexity. Besides a core set of network applications that simplify operations, scale services, and automate support, Junos Space includes an SDK that enables developers to create custom network-aware applications, and make existing applications take advantage of their network environment.

Junos Operating System integrates routing, switching, security, and network services in one network operating system to reduce the complexity of a network and decrease network operation costs by up to 41%. Junos OS is a common, universal language that provides a consistent user experience from the core of the network into the data center and out to the branch office. The Junos SDK is available to partners and customers for development of applications that deliver new control and packet processing functionality in network devices.

Junosphere is a cloud-based environment that enables realistic network modeling using virtual Junos routers. Junosphere services enable customers to learn, model and test, Junos features from any PC with an internet connection.
