Contrail Service Orchestration Privacy Policy

Juniper Networks takes the privacy and security of customer data in our cloud-based platform very seriously. Incidental to the provisioning of the Contrail Service Orchestration Service (“CSO”), device and customer information, such as site name and username (first name, last name, email address), uploaded into CSO relevant for the service will be processed. CSO collects metadata from managed devices that includes but not limited to: ports in use, bytes transmitted by a device, IP address of source and destination, application and protocol. CSO stores and processes device information that are required for the services offered.

All device communication between the CSO and the customer’s device is via secure protocols (SSH, SSL, TLS) and authenticated. The information we collect, including device configurations, is hosted on services which have certified security technologies and procedures in place to ensure integrity and security of customer data (e.g., data separation, physical security, encryption of data in transit and rest and role-based access control). The sharing of information is carried out consistent with the Juniper Privacy Policy and this Privacy Policy Supplement. After termination of the service, all customer device information and user account information are deleted from the platform.
