0:05 the interactive smart campus project is

0:06 the way that we're going to bring our

0:08 campus to life digitally focused around

0:11 our student experience providing them

0:13 the tools and Technologies to uh

0:15 navigate our campus in a in a digital

0:17 way interconnect all of our services

0:19 across the university as well all geared

0:22 around our student experience something

0:23 that we can't do currently all in all

0:28 transformational

0:31 digital transformation for us was was

0:33 imperative we needed a a stable and

0:35 robust Network infrastructure first and

0:37 foremost Juniper came to us and actually

0:39 sold a a a bigger story a better picture

0:43 for us Juniper was uh very engaging with

0:46 us they really wanted to build a

0:47 partnership with the university the

0:49 technology was Forward Thinking

0:51 Innovative we felt confident in their

0:53 ability to look forward there was a lot

0:55 of innovation the Mist platform the

0:57 Marvis AI platform really really caught

1:00 our attention but fundamentally for us

1:02 one of the one of the other areas and at

1:04 the university is we we are aiming to be

1:05 one of the most sustainable universities

1:07 in the world and this was our first

1:09 procurement exercise where we scored

1:11 sustainability on par with cost and

1:13 Juniper demonstrated through their

1:15 response and engagement the uh huge um

1:18 commitment to sustainability through

1:20 their organization and the network

1:22 equipment that they are providing us as

1:23 well the new network architecture for us

1:26 is going to bring so many benefits

1:28 firstly the missed data driven uh

1:30 understanding of the network

1:31 infrastructure the self-correcting part

1:34 of the of the network infrastructure

1:35 which is going to support our teams to

1:37 support the network we're really coining

1:40 the phrase shift left we are really

1:42 moving our support function and

1:44 currently around 80% of our network

1:47 issues and go to our third line Network

1:49 specialist to resolve um the intent here

1:52 is that we we we shift that left so we

1:54 let the AI tool within the Juniper Suite

1:57 take the front of the issues and then

1:59 our service desk second line teams are

2:00 more skilled and un aable to resolve um

2:03 resolve the issues with the network

2:05 fundamentally we need people to not

2:07 notice that there's a network

2:08 infrastructure there it's a utility that

2:10 people need to to use and with juniper

2:12 we'll have

2:13 [Music]

2:18 that
