    Output Control Keys for monitor Command

    The output of the monitor command shows how much each field has changed since you started the command or since you cleared the counters by using the c key. For a description of the statistical information provided in the output of this command, see the show command output.

    To control the output of the monitor command while it is running, use the keys listed in Table 1. The keys are not case-sensitive.

    Clears (returns to zero) the delta counters since the command was started.

    f

    Freezes the display, halting the display of updated statistics and delta counters.

    q or Esc

    Quits the command and returns to the command prompt.

    t

    Thaws the display, resuming the update of the statistics and delta counters.

    a

    Displays the real-time statistics of the next action.

    Note: This key is applicable only for the VTA monitor commands.

    e

    Displays the real-time statistics of the next event handler.
