Configuring Service Scopes (C-Web Interface)
The tasks to configure a service scope are:
- Adding Service Scopes (C-Web Interface)
- Assigning Services and Mutex Groups to Service Scopes (C-Web Interface)
- Assigning Service Scopes to VRs or Subscribers (C-Web Interface)
Adding Service Scopes (C-Web Interface)
To add a service scope:
- Click Configure>Services.
The Services pane appears.
- From the Create new list, select Scope.
- Enter a name for the new scope, and click OK.
The Scope: <name> pane appears.
- Enter information as described in the Help text in the main pane, and click Apply.
Assigning Services and Mutex Groups to Service Scopes (C-Web Interface)
To assign services and mutex groups to a scope:
- Click Configure, and expand Services.
- Click the specified scope.
The Scope: <name> pane appears.
- From the Create new list, select Mutex Group or Service.
- In the dialog box, type a name for the new mutex group or service, and click OK.
Assigning Service Scopes to VRs or Subscribers (C-Web Interface)
You can assign multiple service scopes to a VR or subscriber, and you can assign a service scope to multiple VRs and subscribers.
To assign a service scope:
- Click Configure, and expand Shared.
- Expand Network and the specified device.
- Click the specified virtual router.
The Virtual Router: <name> pane appears.
- In the Scope box, select a virtual router as described in the Help text in the main pane, and click Apply.
