Client Health SLE
Use the Client Health SLE to track user experiences with Zoom or Team applications.
Client health is one of the Service-Level Expectations (SLEs) that you can track on the Application SLEs dashboard. Understand what's measured by this SLE and what issues can impact the performance of an application.
To find the Application SLEs dashboard, select Monitor > Service Levels from the left menu, and then click the Application button.
What Does the Client Health SLE Measure?
User experience can vary based on several factors. Juniper Mist monitors the CPU utilization and routing paths to identify suboptimal application performance that impacts user experience
Classifiers
In this example, you can see that for the 1 percent bad user minutes, 100 percent of the issues are attributed to CPU utilization. The Affected Items tab lists the user MAC addresses for which a high CPU utilization was observed. (See the classifier descriptions below the example.)
-
Suboptimal IP—Client experiences poor call quality due to a suboptimal routing path to the Zoom or Teams server. This indicates that for some reason, the client is being directed to a server located farther away leading to suboptimal routing. Suboptimal routing results in the traffic taking a longer route resulting in increased latency and performance degradation, which impacts user experience. Suboptimal routing can occur due to routing or full tunnel configuration errors.
-
CPU—Client CPU utilization. A high CPU utilization results in low resource availability which might impact the quality of Zoom or Teams meetings.
