About the Custom KPI Collection Page

To access the Custom KPI Collection page, click Observability > Health > Custom KPI Collection.

Use this page to view and manage custom rules, and create rule instances. Paragon Automation uses a custom rule to define key performance indicators (KPIs). You can then apply custom rules to network devices by using rule instances. For more information, see Rules Overview.

Tasks You Can Perform

You can perform the following tasks from this page:

  • View rule instances—Click the Rule Instantiation tab to create, modify, and view rule instances. You use a rule instance to apply a custom rule on one or more devices. See About the Rule Instantiations Tab.

  • View custom rules—Click the Custom Rules > Rules List tab to view a list of all custom rules that you uploaded. See About the Rules List Tab.

  • View rule helper files—Click the Custom Rules > Rule Helper Files tab to view a list of rule helper files that you uploaded. See About the Rule Helper Files Tab.
