Integrate Juniper Secure Edge as Your Secure Edge Connector

Learn about integrating Juniper Secure Edge as your Secure Edge Connector.

Juniper Mist provides pre-built Secure Edge Connectors specifically designed for the Juniper Networks SRX Series Firewalls and Session Smart™ Routers deployed as WAN Edge devices. These connectors facilitate seamless integration with Secure Edge (SSE) deployments.

In the Juniper Mist portal, you can select the Juniper Secure Edge (JSE) as your Secure Edge Connector to inspect traffic from WAN Edge devices. The Secure Edge Connector configuration in Mist enables Juniper Mist WAN Edge devices to send a portion of traffic to JSE for inspection.

You can manually provision or auto-provision tunnels when integrating JSE as your Secure Edge provider. With JSE configured as your Secure Edge Connector in Mist, a tunnel is configured between the WAN Edge device and the SSE. As a result, your WAN Edge device establishes connections to the SSE.
