Description
Enables chained composite next hops for devices handling ingress traffic in the network.
-
On MX Series routers containing both Dense Port Concentrators (DPCs) and Modular Port Concentrator (MPC) Flexible PIC Concentrators (FPCs), you must configure the chassis with the
enhanced-ipoption for enabling chained composite next hops. -
The
extended-spacestatement is not supported on ACX Series routers. -
The
[edit logical-systems]hierarchy level is not applicable on ACX Series routers. - On MX series routers with MPC9 and the previous models of line cards, only
the
labeled-bgpoption and the l3vpn option are supported under the ingress configuration statement; all other configuration options and functionality are not supported.
Default
This statement is disabled by default.
Options
evpn | no-evpn |
Enable or disable composite chained next hop for ingress EVPN label-switched paths (LSPs). Note: Chained composite next hops for ingress traffic
is enabled by default for EVPN with MPLS signaling, so you don't need to
explicitly configure the
evpn option in those
configurations. |
fec129-vpws | no-fec129-vpws |
Enable or disable composite chained next hop for ingress FEC 129 virtual private wire service (VPWS) LSPs. |
l2ckt | no-l2ckt |
Enable or disable composite chained next hop for ingress Layer 2 circuit LSPs. |
l2vpn | no-l2vpn |
Enable or disable composite chained next hop for ingress Layer 2 virtual private network (VPN) LSPs. |
The remaining statements are explained separately. See CLI Explorer.
