About the Endpoint Profiles
To access the Endpoint Profiles tab, click Network Optimization > Network > Network Optimization Intent.
On this tab, you can create endpoint profiles, view the status (Published or Draft) and the number of intents linked to the endpoint profile.
Endpoint profiles define the endpoints of the LSPs (tunnels), which can be later used to create a path intents. For more information, see Network Optimization Overview and About the Network Optimization Intent Page.
Tasks You can Perform

View details of an endpoint profile—You can select and view the details of an endpoint profile. You can either click More > Detail or hover over the endpoint profile and click the Detailed View icon. The Endpoint Profile Details pane appears on the right side of the page displaying the details.
Click the Close (x) icon to close the pane.

Create an endpoint profile— Click + to create an endpoint profile. For more information, see Add an Endpoint Profile.

Edit an endpoint profile—To edit an endpoint profile, select the endpoint profile and click the pencil icon. After you edit, you can choose to save the endpoint profile as a draft or publish the endpoint profile.
Note: You cannot edit an endpoint profile if it is linked to a path intent. -
Delete an endpoint profile—To delete an endpoint profile, select an endpoint profile and click the delete icon. A message confirms that Paragon Automation has successfully deleted the endpoint profile.
Note: You cannot delete an endpoint profile if it is linked to a path intent.

Field Descriptions
Table 1 lists the fields on the Endpoint Profiles tab.
Column | Description |
---|---|
Name | Displays the name of the optimization profile. |
Description | Displays the description that you have entered at the time of endpoint profile creation. |
Status | Displays the status (Draft or Published) of the endpoint profile. Only published optimization profile can be attached to a path intent. |
Linked Intents | Displays the number of path intents the endpoint profile is attached to. |
