About the Activations Tab

To access this tab, click Organization > Licensing > Activations.

You can use the Activations tab to view the list of all active licenses on your Juniper devices in your organization.

Tasks You Can Perform

You can perform the following tasks from this page:

  • View the details of active licenses. See Table 1. for a description of the fields.

  • Revoke a license. See Revoke a License.

  • Download a license. See Download and Activate a License Manually.

  • Export the list of all active licenses on your Juniper devices in CSV format—To export the list of all active licenses on your Juniper devices in your organization, click Download CSV at the top-right corner of the Activations tab. The details are exported to a CSV file that you can download to your local system.

    Note:

    If you open the downloaded CSV file with Microsoft Excel on a Mac computer, any non-English characters in the file might appear as special characters. To avoid this issue, follow the steps below:

    1. Open a new Excel file and then select File > Import > CSV File > Import.

    2. Select the file to be opened and then click Get Data.

      The Text Import Wizard window appears.

    3. Select Unicode (UTF-8) as File Origin.

    4. Click Finish.

  • Search and filter the data by using keywords from the drop-down list.

  • Select the columns to be displayed in the table from the Table Settings pop-up.

  • Sort or re-size the columns in a table (grid).

Field Descriptions

Table 1 displays the fields on the Activations tab.

Field

Description

Product Name

Name of the license activated on a device.

Product Description

Description of the license activated on a device.

Serial Number

Serial number of the device on which the license is activated.

Quantity

Total number of activated licenses.

Activation Date

Date of activation of the entitlement in DD-Month-YYYY format.

For example: 03-Feb-2024

License Start Date

Date of purchase of the entitlement in DD-Month-YYYY format.

For example: 03-Feb-2024

License End Date

Date of expiry of the entitlement in DD-Month-YYYY format.

For example: 03-Feb-2024

Note:

Date of expiry for perpetual entitlements is displayed as NA.

SSRN

Software Support Reference Number (SSRN) of the entitlement.

SSRN is a 12-digit software serial number assigned to identify Juniper Networks product. The SSRN is provided in the fulfillment email after you purchase your Juniper entitlement.

Customer Name

Name of the customer account used to purchase the license.

Activation ID

Activation ID of the entitlement.

Activation Code

Activation code of the entitlement.

Lock Type

License key lock type.

When the license key is locked on a device, the associated license can be installed only on that locked device. The license lock types are:

  • Lock Code—The license key is locked on a device.

  • None—The license key is not locked on a device.

License Identifier

A unique number given to an installed license on a device.
