Revoke a License

You can revoke an active license from the Activations tab. After you submit the request to revoke a license on a device, you can view and track the revocation status on the Audit Logs (Organization > Audit Logs) page. After you revoke a license, you can reuse the license on another device until the license expires.

Note:

You can revoke only those licenses that are activated on an onboarded device.

To revoke a license:

  1. Navigate to Organization > Licensing.
  2. Click the Activations tab.
    The Activations tab appears.
  3. (Optional) Use the search option to search for the specific license you want to revoke.

    Enter the product name or serial number of the license in the search text box, and press Enter.

    The table updates to display the specific license.

  4. Select the option button next to the name of the license (Product Name) that you want to revoke, and click Revoke.
    The Revoke Activation pop-up appears.
  5. Click Confirm.
    A banner appears confirming the successful submission of your revoke request.
    Note:

    The license status is updated within a minute of submitting the request.

    You can track the status of your revoke request on the Audit Logs (Organization > Audit Logs) page.
