SRX400 Firewalls Installation Overview

This topic lists the steps that you need to follow to get your SRX400 Firewalls up and running.

To install and configure the SRX400 Firewalls:

  1. Unpack your device as described in Unpack the SRX400.
  2. Install the device as described in Install the SRX400 Firewalls.
  3. Connect cables to network device as described in Connect the SRX400 Firewalls to the Network.
  4. Connect cables to external devices as described in Connect the SRX400 Firewalls to External Devices.
  5. Connect the grounding cable and power on the firewall as described in Connect the SRX400 Firewalls to Power.
  6. Perform initial configuration by following the instructions in Perform Initial Software Configuration for SRX400 Firewall
