Group MNHA Devices

If you configured two standalone devices as a multinode high availability (MNHA) pair using CLI, you can group the devices as an MNHA pair in Juniper Security Director Cloud GUI. The device configurations are not updated when you group the devices.
Before you begin, ensure the following:
  • The devices are configured as MNHA devices using CLI.

  • The devices are onboarded successfully and connected to Juniper Security Director Cloud.

  • The devices are standalone devices.

  • The devices have the same model number and Junos OS release version.

To group MNHA devices:
  1. Click Inventory > Devices.
  2. Select the 2 devices to be grouped, click More, and then click Group MNHA Devices.
You are prompted to confirm that you want to group the devices.
  3. Click Yes to confirm.
    • A grouping job is created and the job id is displayed. You can track the job progress on the Admin > Jobs page.

    • During the grouping process, the Grouping in progress status is displayed in the Management Status column.

    • If device configurations do not match, the Management Status column displays Incorrect configuration and provides a link to Ungroup MNHA Devices.

    • If device synchronization fails, the Management Status column displays MNHA discovery failed and provides a link to Ungroup MNHA Devices.

    • When the devices are grouped, they are displayed as an MNHA pair on the Devices page.
