Security Policy Versions Overview

Security policy versions provide a controlled way to track, manage, and recover changes made to security policies over time.

By capturing a snapshot of a security policy at specific points, such as before deployment or during significant updates, policy versions act as a safety net that enables teams to review what changed, compare different revisions, and roll back to a known good state if issues arise. This approach supports auditability, safer change management, and operational resilience by ensuring every policy modification is traceable and reversible without impacting unrelated policies or devices.

You can view and manage multiple versions of a security policy. To access the page, select the security policy and click More > Manage Policy Versions.
