Roll Back a Security Policy Version

Revert a security policy version to a specific previous version.

To roll back the security policy to a specific previous version:
  1. Select Security > Security Policies.
The Security Policies page is displayed.
  2. Select the security policy to roll back, and click More > Manage Policy Versions.

The security policy versions page is displayed.

  3. Select the security policy version to make current and click Rollback.
    • The rollback operation makes the selected security policy version as the current version. The operation replaces all the rules and rule groups of the original current version with the rules and rule groups from the selected version.

    • The Resolve Conflicts section displays any discrepancies between the versioned data and the current objects in the system.

  4. Select an object from the Resolve Conflicts section and click one of the following options to resolve the object conflict.
    • Rename—Rename the imported object. By default, the _1 suffix is added to the object name. You can also specify a new name.

    • Overwrite—The object in Juniper Security Director Cloud is replaced with the object imported from the security policy version.

      CAUTION:

Overwriting an object might impact other device configurations.

    • Retain—The existing object in Juniper Security Director Cloud is retained and instead of the object imported from the security policy version.

  5. Click OK.
The current security policy version is replaced with the selected policy version. Click Snapshot to view a summary of the security policy snapshot.
