Juniper provides a wide range of hardware to support your wired networking needs. The information provided on the Juniper Mist Supported Hardware page is not specific to Wired Assurance. This page lists all the devices that can be managed through the Mist portal.

Firmware and Management Options

  • Minimum OS Release—The minimum required Junos OS release (firmware image) for Juniper switches across platforms is 18.2R3. Be aware that 18.2R3 has reached end of support. We recommend that you upgrade to a JTAC-suggested Junos release. For the suggested releases, refer to Junos Software Versions – Suggested Releases to Consider and Evaluate.   • FIP Mode Not Supported—Wired Assurance does not support the use of the FIPS mode command or management of devices that are already in FIPS mode.
