service-tracking (Network Isolation Groups)

Syntax

Hierarchy Level

Description

Enable service tracking in a network isolation group to detect core isolation condition changes.

When you set this option, you must also do the following:

  • In the same network isolation group definition, configure the actions the device should take upon detecting a core isolation condition.

To do this, configure the service-tracking-action statement at the [edit protocols network-isolation group name detection] hierarchy.

  • Assign the network isolation group to the interface or interfaces on which the device should take action upon detecting a core isolation condition.

To do this, configure the network-isolation-profile group group-name statement at the [edit interfaces interface-name] hierarchy.

The interface to which you assign these parameters can be:

  • A logical single link or aggregated Ethernet (AE) link bundle (LAG) to a single-homed customer edge device in the network.

  • An Ethernet segment identifier (ESI) LAG interface to a multihomed customer edge device in the network.

  • A physical interface.
