service-tracking-action (Network Isolation Groups)

Syntax

Hierarchy Level

Description

Set the action the device takes for the interface or interfaces associated with a configured network isolation group profile, when the device detects a network isolation condition change.

A network isolation group encompasses the parameters that the device uses to:

  • Detect when an EVPN instance. a bridge domain, or a VLAN is in a network isolation state.

  • Take actions on the associated interfaces after the device detects a network isolation status change.

You set this option as part of configuring parameters that define a network isolation group for network isolation service tracking. When you configure this option in a network isolation group, you also must:

  • Enable service tracking in the network isolation group to detect network isolation condition changes.

To do this, include the service-tracking statement at the [edit protocols network-isolation group group-name detection] hierarchy. With the service-tracking statement, you set a supported network isolation condition to track (such as core-isolation).

  • Assign the network isolation group to an interface where you want the device to perform the action when the configured network isolation condition happens.

To do this, set the network isolation group name for the desired interface or interfaces using the network-isolation-profile group group-name statement at the [edit interfaces interface-name] hierarchy.

Options

Actions the device can perform on the interfaces associated with the network isolation group upon detecting the configured network isolation condition:

lacp-out-of-sync

Set LACP out of sync state for the associated ESI LAG interfaces.

link-down

Bring down the interface or interfaces.
