tunnel-loopback

Syntax

Hierarchy Level

Description

You use the tunnel-loopback statement to enable the loopback of tunnel traffic received over an integrated routing and bridging (IRB) interface. Configure this statement under the IPV4 family inet hierarchy of an IRB interface. This is required to loopback tunnel traffic and terminate tunnels in the loopback path for both VXLAN and MPLS over UDP scenarios.

Note: For EVPN-VXLAN deployments you must also configure the tunnel-termination statement at the [edit forwarding-options] hierarchy level which enables the termination of tunnels on all interfaces at the global level.

Required Privilege Level

interface—To view this statement in the configuration.

interface-control—To add this statement to the configuration.
