routing-instance (Junos Telemetry Interface)
Syntax
routing-instance routing-instance-name;Hierarchy Level
[edit services analytics export-profile export-profile-name]
Description
For legacy gRPC dialout connections, configure a routing instance in an export profile. You can only configure the routing instance in an export profile for legacy remote procedure call (gRPC) dial-out connections. An error is returned if the routing instance configured is used with User Datagram Protocol (UDP) transport.
Configuring the routing instance in an export profile is not mandatory. If you choose not to configure a routing instance, the default routing instance is applied.
Starting with Junos OS release 25.4R1, the format and
transport options are deprecated. Use the CLI option
dialout-type at the [edit services analytics
export-profile name] hierarchy to specify the type of dial-out
connection. Select the option native-grpc-gpb for
gpb-gnmi message format and gRPC transport protocol.
