Description

Chassis PFE interop configuration. By default, chassis interoperability knob is not configured, and the LC1301, LC1201 and LC1202 line cards will come up with JNP10008-SF5 SIB, allowing the line cards to interoperate with each other. After configuring the chassis interoperability express5-enhanced knob, you must restart the system to enable operation in express5-enhanced mode. In this mode, line cards with express4 ASICs, such as LC1201 and LC1202, will go offline. The offline reason FPC incompatible with interop config will indicate this when you run the show chassis fpc command. Even a CLI request command cannot bring these cards online. Use the show chassis interoperability command to view the current interoperability mode.
