distribution-ip (Security SIP)

Syntax

Hierarchy Level

Description

The distribution-ip configuration statement allows you to configure maximum of up to 20 IPv4 or IPv6 distribution IP addresses that enable SIP ALG to distribute the traffic based on the available IP addresses. Use the optional fpc and pic commands to add Flexible PIC Concentrator (FPC) card numbers and PIC card numbers to distribute the SIP traffic with IP address to the corresponding port. If the fpc and pic options are not configured, the SIP traffic with IP address distributes to the port decided by hash value of IP address.

Before configuring the set security alg sip distribution-ip ip-address fpc fpc-slot pic pic-slot command, perform the following steps:

  • Use the delete security alg sip distribution-ip ip-address command to remove a specific IP address or use the delete security alg sip distribution-ip command to remove all the existing IP addresses.

  • Use the clear security nat incoming-table command to remove the dynamically added IP addresses.
