You modify the serial number of a device that
is added to Junos Space Network Management Platform.
To modify the serial number of a modeled device:
- On the Network Management Platform user interface, select Devices > Device Management.
The Device Management page is displayed.
- Select the modeled device for which you want to modify
the serial number and select Device Operations > Modify Serial
Number from the Actions menu.
The Modify Serial Number page is displayed.
- Double-click the serial number in the Serial Number column
of the device and enter the new serial number.
- Click Modify.
The serial number of the modeled device is modified.
