Viewing a Connection Profile

You view a connection profile when you need to view the details of the connection profile.

To view a connection profile:

  1. On the Network Management Platform user interface, select Devices > Model Devices > Connection Profiles.

    The Connection Profiles page that appears displays the connection profiles.

  2. Select the connection profile you want to view and select the View Connection Profile icon from the Actions bar.

    The View Connection Profile dialog box is displayed.

    Table 1 lists the details of the connection profile displayed in the View Connection Profile dialog box.

    IP address of the NAT server and the port used for network address translation

    How the IP address is assigned to the device DHCP, Static, or PPPoE and the fields related to the type of connection used to assign the IP address

    For example, a DHCP-based connection profile displays fields such as Retransmission Attempts, Retransmission Interval, Server Address, and so on.

  3. Click Close to close the View Connection Profile dialog box.
