About the KPI Recommendations Tab
To access this tab, click Observability > Health > Smart KPI Assistant > KPI Recommendations.
Use this tab to view the KPI recommendations generated for devices. KPI recommendations listed in this tab are generated by the Observability Recommendation Engine. You can review the KPI recommendations for each device and identify whether any action is needed. You can approve or reject the recommendations based on your monitoring requirements.
Tasks You Can Perform
You can perform the following tasks from this tab:

View all the KPI recommendations.

View the KPI recommendation details. For more information, see View Details of a KPI Recommendation.

Approve the KPI recommendations. For more information, see Approve a KPI Recommendation.

Filter the KPI recommendations based on hostname, user action needed, and last modified date. For more information, see Filter a KPI Recommendation.

Click the Hostname field of a device (hyperlink) to view details of the KPIs collected on the Device-Name Page. For more information, see About the Device-Name Page.

You can also perform the following tasks on this page:

Sort, resize, or re-arrange columns in a table (grid).

Show or hide columns in the table or reset page preferences, using the vertical ellipsis menu.

Filter the data displayed in the table—Click the filter icon (funnel) and select whether you want to show or hide advanced filters. You can then add or remove filter criteria, save criteria as a filter, apply or clear filters, and so on. The filtered results are displayed on the same page.

Field Descriptions
Table 1 lists the fields on the Rule Instances tab.

Hostname |
Displays the hostname of the device for which the KPIs are recommended.. |

Model |
Displays the model name or model number of the device. |
|
Detection |
Displays the latest change or trigger because of which the KPI recommendation is updated. |

Tags |
Displays the names of all the tags associated with the device. A tag is a label (unique key-value pair) that you assign to a device so that a specific set of rules can be recommended for the device. Note: A device is tagged with specific device role tag so that
only the rules with similar roles (defined in the rule properties) are filtered
and applied on the device. If a device is not tagged with a device role, then all
the rules will be applicable to the specific device. For more information on tags,

User Action Needed |
Displays if any user action is needed. |

Approval Status |
Displays the approval status of the KPI recommendations. The total number of recommendations present for each approval status is also displayed. The different approval statuses are:

Deployment Status |
Displays the deployment status of the KPI recommendation. Deployment status indicates if the respective KPI monitoring has been started for the device or not. The total number of recommendations present for each deployment status is also displayed. The different deployment statuses are:

Last Modified |
Displays the last time the KPI recommendation was modified. |

Modified By |
Displays who made the latest modification to the KPI recommendation. If Auto Mode is enabled for the KPI recommendation, then the field shows Auto Mode. If user has modified the KPI recommendation, then the username is displayed. Note: You must be a user with Network Admin or Super User role
to approve, reject, or modify KPIs.
