Edit and Delete Access Control Profiles

Use this topic to edit or delete an access control profile.

Edit an Access Control Profile

You must be a superuser to edit an access control policy. All fields except Version can be edited.

When you edit an access control profile that is assigned to one or more users, the changes take effect immediately on the users.

To edit an access control policy:

  1. Click Settings Menu > Control Profiles on the banner.

    The Access Control Profiles page appears.

  2. Click the profile that you want to edit.

    The Edit Access Control Profile page appears.

  3. Edit the fields by referring to Table 1.
  4. Click Save.

    You are returned to the Access Control Profiles page, where you can verify the changes in the Access Control Profiles table.

Delete an Access Control Profile

You must be a superuser to delete an access control profile. An access control profile assigned to a user cannot be deleted. Therefore, before you delete an access control profile, ensure that the profile is not assigned to any user.

To edit an access control policy:

  1. Click Settings Menu > Control Profiles on the banner.

    The Access Control Profiles page appears.

  2. Click the profile that you want to delete.

    A confirmation message appears.

  3. Click Yes.

    The profile is deleted, and the profile is no longer listed on the Access Control Profiles page.
