About the Trust Tab

Tasks You Can Perform

You can perform the following tasks from this page:

• On the Trust pane, you can:

  • View the average trust score (in percentage) of devices within the network, with 100 percent representing complete trust. A trust score is calculated based on the values of a list of factors such as prerequisites, variable, and reputational factors. See Trust Score Overview.

    The icon before the trust score indicates how trustworthy a device is.

    • A green icon indicates that the average trust score is 90 percent or above.

    • An orange icon indicates that the average trust score is between 40 and 90 percent.

    • A red icon indicates that the average trust score is 40 percent or below.

  • View the predefined trust plan applied to the network.

    You can change the current predefined plan from the Plan drop-down list on the Trust Settings page.

  • View an overall trend (in percentage) of the improvement or decline of the average trust score for the past 30 days.

    A green arrow pointing up before the overall trend percentage indicates that the average score has improved. A red arrow pointing down indicates that the average trust score has decreased since the details on the Trust tab was last updated.

  • View a graph of the average trust score for the past 30 days. You can also view two lines showing the high (when average trust score is 90 percent and above) and low (when average trust score is below 40 percent) threshold levels of the average trust score.

• View overall device health based on the device vulnerabilities on the Vulnerabilities accordion. See About the Vulnerability Health Page.

  On the Vulnerabilities accordion, you can:

  • View the average health (in percentage) of devices based on the vulnerabilities on the devices, and the total number of unhealthy devices.

  • View the percentage and health of the KPIs, and the total number of unhealthy devices in relation to that KPI.

  • View a graph of the average health of devices based on device vulnerabilities for the past 30 days.

• View overall device health based on compliance of devices on the Compliance accordion. See About the Compliance Health Page.

  On the Compliance accordion, you can:

  • View the average health (in percentage) of devices based on compliance of devices, and the total number of unhealthy devices.

  • View the percentage and health of the KPIs, and the total number of unhealthy devices in relation to that KPI.

  • View a graph of the average health of devices based on compliance of devices for the past 30 days.

• View overall device health based on integrity of devices on the Integrity accordion. See About the Integrity Health Page.

  On the Integrity accordion, you can:

  • View the average health (in percentage) of devices based on integrity of devices, and the total number of unhealthy devices.

  • View the percentage and health of the KPIs, and the total number of unhealthy devices in relation to that KPI.

  • View a graph of the average health of devices based on integrity of devices for the past 30 days.

• Expand or collapse accordions.

  • Click Expand All to expand the accordion on the tab. You can view detailed information that is related to KPIs that affect overall health based on alerts, and a performance graph.

  • Click Collapse All to collapse all accordions on the tab. You can view Trust score pane and overall health of the accordion that is based on alerts, and a condensed view of the performance graph.

• View the total number of devices in the network in the top-right corner of the tab.

• View the timestamp of the last update or refresh (in MMM DD, YYYY hh:mm:ss AM/PM format) in the top-right corner of the tab. For example: May 12, 2024 12:42:43 PM.

• Click the Settings (gear) icon to configure these parameters to run a compliance scan on devices in the network:

  • Plan—Select a predefined trust plan to calculate the trust score for each device. For more information, see Trust Plans Overview.

  • Benchmark—Select a benchmarks document that lists compliance policies and rules defined by the Center for Internet Security (CIS). For more information, see About the Compliance Benchmarks Page.

  • Profile—Select a benchmark profile depending on the level of security of the scan. Profiles in the benchmarks document defines the rules and policies enforced on devices to obtain a desired level of compliance. For more information, see About the Compliance Benchmarks Page.

  • Tailoring—Select a tailoring document to assess the compliance of devices. You can create customized tailoring documents for one or more rules defined in the benchmarks document. For more information, see About the Compliance Tailorings Page.

  Click Apply to save.

  You are returned to the Trust tab where you can view results of the scan on the Compliance accordion based on the configured parameters. The Compliance accordion is displayed only when the scan matches the Trust settings that you configured.

• Update the details on the tab by clicking the refresh icon.
