Predictive Bandwidth Upgrade Recommendations

Marvis analyzes network traffic trends to forecast future bandwidth needs and generates proactive recommendations for bandwidth upgrades. By employing predictive algorithms, Marvis actively monitors interface bandwidth utilization rates and predicts when link utilization will approach critical congestion thresholds of 80 percent and 90 percent.

Previously, Marvis triggered congestion events when the interface bandwidth capacity thresholds were exceeded. With this enhancement, Marvis triggers congestion events when there is a sustained high bandwidth utilization and a potential congestion, ensuring comprehensive coverage of potential bandwidth issues.

With this feature, you can:

  • Receive proactive alerts to avoid performance degradation.

  • Plan bandwidth upgrades proactively for interfaces nearing high utilization thresholds.
