Maintaining MX2020 Adapter Cards
Purpose
For optimum router performance, verify the condition of the ADCs. The router can have up to twenty ADCs mounted vertically in the line card cage at the front of the chassis. The MPCs are installed vertically into the ADCs.
Action
On a regular basis:
Issue the CLI
show chassis adccommand to check the status of installed ADCs. As shown in the sample output, the value Online in the column labeled State indicates that the ADC is functioning normally:
