Reemplazo de un SFB MX2000
Eliminación de un SFB MX2000
Para eliminar un SFB (véase la Figura 1 y la Figura 2):
Puede quitar el SFB como una unidad.
Antes de quitar un SFB, asegúrese de que sabe cómo operar las manijas del eyector correctamente para evitar daños en el equipo.
- Coloque una bolsa electrostática o una alfombra antiestática en una superficie plana y estable.
- Conecte una correa de conexión a tierra de descarga electrostática (ESD) a su muñeca desnuda y conecte la correa a uno de los puntos de conexión a tierra ESD en el chasis.
- Abra las manijas del eyector hacia afuera simultáneamente para destituyr el SFB.
- Agarre las manijas del eyector y deslice el SFB aproximadamente a la mitad del chasis.
PRECAUCIÓN:
El peso del SFB se concentra en la parte posterior. Prepárese para aceptar el peso completo( hasta 12 lb (5,45 kg) a medida que desliza el SFB fuera del chasis.
- Colóquelo por debajo del SFB y deslíquelo completamente fuera del chasis.
- Coloque el SFB en el tapete antiestático o en una bolsa antiestática.
PRECAUCIÓN:
No apile componentes de hardware entre sí después de quitarlos. Coloque cada componente en una alfombra antiestática que descansa sobre una superficie estable y plana.
- Si no va a reemplazar el SFB de inmediato, instale un panel en blanco sobre la ranura vacía.


Instalación de un SFB MX2000
Para instalar un SFB (véase la figura 3):
Antes de quitar o reemplazar un SFB, asegúrese de que los asas eyector se almacenan horizontalmente y se presionan hacia el centro del SFB.
Si se produce un error en uno de los SFB, no quite el SFB fallido hasta que tenga un panel en blanco o de reemplazo para instalar.
- Conecte una correa de conexión a tierra de descarga electrostática (ESD) a su muñeca desnuda y conecte la correa a uno de los puntos ESD del chasis.
- Tome cada SFB que se instale de su bolsa electrostática e identifique la ranura en el SFB donde se conectará.
- Alinee cuidadosamente los lados del SFB con las guías dentro del chasis.
- Deslice el SFB en el chasis hasta que sienta resistencia, para asegurarse de que esté correctamente alineado.
- Coloque las manijas del eyector en su posición correcta, verticalmente y hacia el centro del tablero.

- Compruebe los indicadores LED de la placa facial SFB para comprobar que funciona con normalidad.
El LED verde OK/FAIL debe encenderse constantemente unos minutos después de instalar el SFB.
Si el LED OK/FAIL es rojo, quite e instale el SFB de nuevo. Si el LED OK/FAIL sigue iluminando constantemente, el SFB no funciona correctamente. Comuníquese con su representante de atención al cliente. Consulte Contacto con el servicio de atención al cliente.
- Compruebe el estado del SFB mediante el
