Integration with SRX Series Overview
The SRX series by Juniper is an enterprise-level Secure Gateway for networks. WebApp Secure provides two different ways in which it can integrate with the SRX.
One method involves automatically injecting itself into the SRX routing table.
- Deploy with SRX: The most simple deployment method, using BGP or OSPF protocols, placing WebApp Secure logically in-line with the network routes, but easily removing it from the routes if it goes offline.
The other method leverages WebApp Secure's tracking information in order to achieve action on the SRX series itself.
- External Response Service: Filters and Terms Configuration Summary for SRX Series: Integrate WebApp Secure into a network with an existing SRX series so that IP addresses from WebApp Secure can be blocked using a security policy on the SRX series.
- Spotlight Secure Connector: Integrate WebApp Secure into a network with several SRX series devices so that those SRX devices can take multiple actions based on WebApp Secure data. (For example, multiple applications may filter on separate SRX series devices.)
