Changing the Root Password on Your JSA Console

 

As a good security practice, change the root password on your JSA console at regular intervals.

  1. Use SSH to log in to your JSA console as the root user.
  2. Type the user name and password for the root user.

    The user name and password are case-sensitive.

  3. Use the passwd command to change your password.
