Upgrading an Appliance to Ensure Correct /store Partition Sizing

Before you can add an appliance to an existing high-availablity (HA) cluster, you must confirm that the /store partition is the same size on both the primary and secondary HA host. A new appliance with JSA 7.3.0 and later installed has a different /store partition size than a host that is upgraded to 7.3.0. To add a JSA 7.3.0 appliance to an HA cluster that was upgraded to 7.3.0, you must first flatten the appliance and upgrade from JSA 2014.8.

Download the following software ISOs and fixes, and burn them to DVDs:

    1. Install JSA 2014.8 on your new appliance. For more information, see Juniper Secure Analytics Installation Guide.
    2. Upgrade JSA 2014.8 with the patch. For more information, see Upgrading Juniper Secure Analytics to 2014.8.
    3. Install JSA 7.3.0 on the appliance. For more information, see Juniper Secure Analytics Installation Guide.
