IP/MPLSView Recommended Multicast Instructions
Following is a high-level, sequential outline of the functionalities of the Multicast feature.
- Open the advanced dog network in
$WANDL_HOME/sample/original/router/advanced/dog. - Create a multicast group as described in step 1 through step 5.
- Create multicast demands as described in step 6 through step 8.
- View information on effects of multicast demands in the network, such as paths and link utilization, in step 1 through step 5.
- Compare a network using multicast with one using unicast as shown in step 1 through step 7.
