Hardware Inventory

The Hardware Inventory module provides a a view of the router system, chassis, and interface information. This chapter describes how to access this information.

Use these procedures to keep track of hardware inventory, hardware usage, and costs.

Prior to beginning this task, you must have a live network or a network model created from config files in your network. You should also have connectivity to your router network. See the Getting Started Guide for instructions to get connected to your router network.

  • View the logical and tabular view of the router chassis.
  • Collect data to update the equipment view.
  • View the device list and interface list.
  • View device, customer, and card usage information.
  • View and edit equipment cost information.
