What got you started on this book?

Wanted to do something that will help new users with Junos and EX switches.

 Who is this book for?

Anyone who is interested in Junos and EX series switches or folks with minimal experience and need guidance with configuring EX switches.

After reading this book, what's the take away?

Hopefully, this book will demonstrate how easy it is to work with Junos and configuring the EX switches. The hurdle of learning a new operating system is not as bad as one would think.

The switching hierarchy within Junos. Majority of the switching components will reside in one of three stanzas, vlans, ethernet-switching-option, and protocols.

Any of the Automation Series. This will give you a good preview of the tools that are available which can only be done with Junos.

 What's your inspiration?

Wanting to promote Junos and EX switches.

What's your favorite bit/part in the book?

No favorite
