EX4300 Switches

The EX4300 switches are fixed-configuration platforms that satisfy a variety of high-performance campus and data center access needs. They offer IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) or 802.3at PoE+ ports up to 30W.

The EX4300 is cloud-ready and ZTP-enabled, so you can onboard, configure, and manage it with Juniper Mist™ Wired Assurance for improved connected-device experiences. In addition, the Juniper Mist Cloud streamlines deploying and managing your campus fabric, while Mist AI simplifies operations and improves visibility into the performance of connected devices. EX4300 switches support Juniper’s Virtual Chassis technology, enabling any combination of up to 10 EX4300 and EX4600 switches to be interconnected and managed as a single logical device for a highly scalable, cost-effective solution in 1GbE or mixed 1GbE/10GbE/40GbE environments.

Features + Benefits

Claim, configure, and troubleshoot switches with a few clicks. Wired Assurance delivers better experiences for connected devices through AI-powered automation and service-level expectations (SLEs) with Mist’s AI engine and microservices cloud.

The EX Switches provide rich streaming telemetry data to enable the insights for switch health metrics and anomaly detection. Streamline IT operations, reduce mean time to repair, and deliver optimized experiences across wired and wireless.

With Virtual Chassis technology, up to ten interconnected EX4300 switches operate as a single logical device, reducing operational expenses and simplifying management.

Juniper’s Virtual Chassis technology allows any combination of up to 10 EX4300 and/or EX4600 switches to be seamlessly interconnected and managed as a single device, delivering a scalable, pay-as-you-grow solution for expanding network environments.

EX4300 switches support IEEE 802.1ae MACsec, providing support for link-layer data confidentiality, data integrity, and data origin authentication.

The EX4300 multigigabit switch also enables higher levels of Media Access Control Security (MACsec) AES256 encryption on all access and uplink ports, protecting customer traffic from unauthorized access.

Each switch port has 12 QoS queues, enabling multilevel, end-to-end traffic prioritization.

The EX4300 supports rich quality of service (QoS) functionality for prioritizing data, voice, and video traffic.
