It features 2.88 Tbps forwarding capacity and 10GbE, 40GbE, and 100GbE interfaces, providing the density and scale to meet relentless traffic demands in large networks.

The PTX1000 enables organic, distributed peering with a rich IP/MPLS feature set without sacrificing performance or ease of deployment—two of the biggest factors in controlling total cost of ownership (TCO). Powered by Juniper Networks ExpressPlus™ custom silicon, it delivers highly scalable, reliable, and predictable IP/MPLS packet performance in a compact form factor.
